Mandatory Internship at Ruttkowski;68 Düsseldorf

Ruttkowski;68 Düsseldorf is looking for an intern (m/f/d) for 3-4 days/week over a period of three months.

Ruttkowski;68, founded in 2010, is a Cologne, Düsseldorf, New York and Paris-based art gallery.

The gallery concentrates on a broad range of practices within contemporary art, including painting, time-based media art, sculpture and installation, whilst following a non-hierarchical approach towards several scenes and artistic backgrounds.
By representing both emerging and established artists rooted in fine arts, fashion, pop culture and youth movements, Ruttkowski;68 manages to create an ever-evolving link between the high and the low.

Tasks:

- Support in the planning and realization of exhibitions and trade fair visits
- Updating the artists' CVs, portfolios, website and inventory
- Planning and participating in openings and other gallery events
- Ordering consumables for the gallery
- General office work and organisation
- Sending catalogues and organising larger mailings

Gallery requirements:

- Strong interest in contemporary art and culture
- High level of motivation and personal responsibility
- Independent, structured and careful way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficient in the use of common word processing and graphics programs
- Strong communication skills, friendly and professional demeanour
- Good Mac skills
